“I decided to bite the bullet, taught myself HTML and ASP and from start to finish developed the site in 10 weeks flat working 18-20 hours a day” says Botha.
The abundance of web developers often taken for granted in the U.S. and Europe were just not available to Botha. So through struggle, he began to prevail.
His new website, Cyberinformatix.com, has only been online a little over two months and is already set to compete with the “big boys,” ready to become more sophisticated and polished. Even with a limited knowledge of web design, the South African has still managed to build a pro image for his business.
Botha\'s website features a creative combination of recipes, poetry, and useful software based on his own talents. The former military applications developer created every single software program on his website. His one-of-a-kind programs include everything from an “all-in-one-organizer” to a smart email list manager.
The Internet go-getter has also recently schooled himself on the emerging art of SEO and propelled his website into Yahoo\'s top ten.
“We are still working around the clock,” admits Botha.
His hard work and last-minute efforts to get situated online have put him in a fabulous position for expanded growth – the kind of growth only a true maverick can enjoy.
